CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON MONDAY

Court 1 at 9.45am trial continues of Alex Lanning and Jonathan Camille accused of murdering aspiring athlete, Tashan Daniel, 20, at Hillingdon Tube station. The victim was stabbed to death.

Court 2 at 10.15am trial of Obina Ezeoke accused of a double murder. He is alleged to have shot dead Annie Besala Ekofo, 53, and her nephew Bervil Kalikala-Ekofo,21 in East Finchley, London. It was a case of mistaken identity. This is the fifth time Ezeoke has faced trial for these offences due to Covid 19 and other legal problems.

Court 8 at 9.45am Mention in the case of professional footballer Benjamin Agyeman-Badu, 21, and Darren John, 22, allegedly attempted to murder Henry Bardi in east London. Former Blackpool FC winger Agyeman-Badu is said to have been in possession of 1922 model Browning self-loading pistol

Court 8 at 10.30am trial of Faisal Ahmad and Hisham Mohammed accused of a terrorist knife plot after a stash of weapons and a drone were allegedly found at their Manchester home. They are alleged to have plotted to attack soldiers or police using the drone. Court 10 at 10am Mention in the case of Dean Smith accused of murdering his 13 year old daughter. Masie Newell suffered head injuries when she was a four week old baby in 2000 and died in 2014 allegedly as a result of the injuries. Court 10 at 3pm Mention in the case of Fatah Mohammed Abdullah, 33, who was arrested in December last year after he allegedly bought “explosive pre-cursors” online. He is accused of terrorist offences. Court 11 at 4pm Mention in the case of Safiyya Amira Shaikh, who is accused of terrorist offences, which included a plot to blow up St Paul’s Cathedral. Court 12 at 10am trial of Yasin Amare and another accused of murder. Gleb Zhebrovsky,34, a Russian businessman, was stabbed to death Poplar, East London.
