CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON THURSDAY

Court 1 at 9.30am trial continues of Alex Lanning and Jonathan Camille accused of murdering aspiring athlete, Tashan Daniel, 20, at Hillingdon Tube station. The victim was stabbed to death.
 
Court 1 at 9.45am Mention in the case of Andrew Dymock  accused of a string of terror offences relating to promoting and encouraging neo-Nazi terrorism
 
Court 2 at 10.15am  trial of Obina Ezeoke accused of a double murder. He is alleged to have shot dead Annie Besala Ekofo, 53, and her nephew Bervil Kalikala-Ekofo,21 in East Finchley, London. It was a case of mistaken identity. This is the fifth time Ezeoke has faced trial for these offences due to Covid 19 and other legal problems.

Court 8 at 10am trial of Faisal Ahmad and Hisham Mohammed accused of a terrorist knife plot after a stash of weapons and a drone were allegedly found at their Manchester home. They are alleged to have plotted to attack soldiers or police using the drone. 

Court 10 at 10am Plea and trial preparation in the case of  Baz Hockton and a fellow inmate at HMP Whitemore prison accused of the attempted of a guard. Hocton allegedly ambushed officer Neil Trundle wearing a fake suicide vest. The prison officer sustained stab and slash wounds to his head, chest and face.

Court 12 at 9.30am Mention in the case of Polish-born Filip Golon Bednarczyk, 25, who was arrested by officers from the Met Police on December 11, on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism

Court 12 at 10.30am trial of  Yasin Amare and another accused of murder. Gleb Zhebrovsky,34, a Russian businessman, was stabbed to death Poplar, East London.
