CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON TUESDAY
Court 1 at 11am trial of Aaron McKenzie accused of murder. His ex-partner, Kelly-Mary Fauvrelle, 26, was eight months pregnant when she was stabbed to death in the bedroom of her home in Thornton Heath, Surrey on June 29.
Court 2 at 10.30am New trial of Obina Ezeoke accused of a double murder. He is alleged to have shot dead Annie Besala Ekofo, 53, and her nephew Bervil Kalikala-Ekofo,21 in East Finchley, London. It was a case of mistaken identity. This is the fifth time Ezeoke has faced trial for these offences due to Covid 19 and other legal problems.
Court 5 at 9.30am Mention the case of James Whyte and Crystal Culhane, both 21, accused of attempting to murder Paul Flory, 33, with a baseball bat. He was left in a critical conditionCourt 8 at 10.30am Retrial of Henry Long,18, and two 17 year old youths accused of murdering PC Andrew Harper, who was killed after responding to a suspected burglary. The 28-year-old newlywed died of multiple injuries when he was dragged for over a mile with his ankles trapped in a strap on a car fleeing from a crime scene.
Court 8 at 3.30pm Plea and trial preparation in the case of alleged road rage killer Robert Barrow accused of running over a woman during a row over a minor crash. He is was charged with the murder of Tahereh Pirali-Dashti, 40, and assault of a 56-year-old man.
Court 9 at 10.30am Plea and trial preparation in the case of Immanuel Oyewo, 19, who is accused of trying to shoot dead a Hasidic Jewish man. He allegedly approached Zeev Levy and attempted to open fire with a loaded six-shot-gate gun on 17 February.
Court 9 at 2.30pm Mention in the case of Marian Anghel,42. who is accused of murdering a 48 year old man in Hornsey, North London. The victim was stabbed to death.
Court 12 at 10am case of six teenagers over the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old student Josiph Beker, who was stabbed outside a KFC in Edgware Road, central London.
Court 16 at 10.30am trial of Mark Brazant, who is accused of stabbing a 36 year old mother from behind as she was pushing her child in a pram in South London. He denies attempted murder.
