Court 1 at 10.30am New trial of Aaron McKenzie accused of murder. His ex-partner, Kelly-Mary Fauvrelle, 26, was eight months pregnant when she was stabbed to death in the bedroom of her home in Thornton Heath, Surrey on June 29.
Court 1 Not sitting trial of Stephen Whiteley and Ziad Akle, former territory managers for Iraq at energy consultancy Unaoil, along with their co-defendant Paul Bond, former Middle East sales manager at Dutch energy firm SBM. They are accused of bribing officials in Iraq for contracts worth US$800 million to rebuild the country’s oil industry after the fall of Saddam Hussein in 2003.
Court 5 at 10am Pre-trial review in the case of Yasin Amare accused of murder. Gleb Zhebrovsky, also known as Gleb Stalnoy, was knifed in Poplar, East London and died at the scene.The 34-year-old Chelsea fan, who was born in Russia and moved to England aged 17, founded Hands On Crew. It provides labourers to the construction and events industries.
Court 5 at 12 noon Mention in the case of Daniel Burke, a former soldier in the British Army charged with terrorism offences for allegedly plotting to join Kurdish militia forces fighting in Syria and Iraq. Burke, 32, spent around eight months fighting against ISIS with the Kurdish YPG between late 2017 and June 2018 before returning to the UK.
Court 8 at 10.30am Retrial of Henry Long,18, and two 17 year old youths accused of murdering PC Andrew Harper, who was killed after responding to a suspected burglary. The 28-year-old newlywed died of multiple injuries when he was dragged for over a mile with his ankles trapped in a strap on a car fleeing from a crime scene.
Court 9 at 11am Sentence of Tashan Brewster and two others, who were accused of murder. Bright Akinleye,22, was stabbed multiple times in the lobby of a hotel in North London
Court 12 at 10am case of six teenagers over the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old student Josiph Beker, who was stabbed outside a KFC in Edgware Road, central London.
Court 12 at 10am Mention in the case of Livo Mazzerello accused of a £54 million wine scam. He allegedly avoided paying tax by selling thousands of cases of fine wines “under the counter” for cash.
Court 13 at 9.30am Mention in the case of Polish-born Filip Golon Bednarczyk, 25, who was arrested by officers from the Met Police on December 11, on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism
Court 13 at 10am Hearing in the case of Sandy Kaur, 47, and Aaron Sanghera, 26, who allowed their company to be used to launder over £750,000 stolen by a fraudster posing as a rich businessman.
Court 13 at 11.30am Mention in the case of Luke Matthews accused of murder. Kyle Kelson, 25, was blasted in the head with a shotgun in the early hours of June 19 in North Cheam, Surrey.
Court 13 at 2.15pm Plea and trial preparation in the case of Yixing Song,54, who is accused of murdering his partner Li Qing Wang, 35, in the bedroom of their Leyton, East London house. The victim was stabbed to 22 times.
Court 16 at 10.30am New trial in the case of Mark Brazant, who is accused of stabbing a 36 year old mother from behind as she was pushing her child in a pram in South London. He denies attempted murder.
