Court 1 at 9.45am Mention in the appeal of the “lady in the lake” killer Gordon Park. Park was found guilty of killing his wife Carol, whose body was found wrapped in bags and tied with rope, in Coniston Water in the Lake District in 1997, 21 years after her disappearance. Park always maintained his innocence and killed himself in prison in 2010. A posthumous appeal was brought by Park’s son claiming the conviction is “unsafe”
Court 5 at 10am Mention in the case of Hussan Almch accused of terrorist related offences.
Court 13 at 10.30am Pre-trial review in the case of Ismail Yusuf. Mehran Heydari, 26, was stabbed through the heart at West Ealing train station in West London.
Court 13 at 2pm Plea and trial preparation in the case of Badir Alnazi accused of murdering an Omani student who was stabbed to death for his £120,000 Rolex watch near Harrods. Sheik’s son Mohammed Abdullah Al Araimi, 20, a King’s College politics and economics student, was knifed to death on December 5, 2019 as he made his way home from a meal out with friends.
Court 14 at 10am Plea and trial preparation in the case of James Watson, who denies murdering a six year old boy 25 years ago. Rikki Neave’s naked body was found in woodland in Peterborough in November 1994.
Court 14 at 12 noon Plea and case management in the case of Souhaib Embarek accused of having instructions on how to make a bomb. He is charged with five counts of possessing material likely to be of use to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism. He was arrested at an address in Clifton, Bristol on 9 December
