CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON TUESDAY

Court 1 at 10am Inquest into the deaths in the London Bridge and Borough Market terror attacks in which 11 people lost their lives and 48 were injured in 2017

Court 2 at 10am New trial of Gurjaipal Dhillon accused of drug offences.

Court 5 at 9.30am Plea and trial preparation in the case of Jamil Khalid accused of a 15 year old murder. Daniel Higgins,  who died at the age of 18 in November 2003.

Court 5 at 10am  trial of Marcus West and two others accused of murder. Patryck Olownuik,20, was shot dead in Bedford.

Court 8 at 10am Jury deliberating in the trial of Isaiah Popoola, Ben Drummond and others. Popoola and Drummond deny stabbing to death two young men within two hours. The murders took place during a series of five violent attacks, allegedly by the same gang that day.

Court 9 at 10am trial continues of Gary Beech and Michael Swan accused of murder. Ian Tomlin, 46, was battered to death with a baseball bat after confronting drug dealers outside his flat in Battersea, South London, the court wast old.of  accused of murdering a 17-year-old boy who was stabbed to death with a zombie knife.

Court 10 at 9.30am trial of Treynae Campbell accused of murdering a 17-year-old boy who was stabbed to death with a zombie knife.

Court 11 at 9.45am trial of  Nicola Green and three others accused of manslaughter after Sheiku Adams, 49, fell to his death from a third floor flat in Camden, North London

Court 12 at 10am trial continues of Billal Mumin and others. Mumin is accused of stabbing to death Edmond Jonuzi, 35, who was killed outside a tube station in North London on June 9.

Court 14 at 10am Jury expected to retire in the trial of Juskiran Sidhu and another accused of murder. Hashim Abdulla Ali,22, was shot dead while sitting in a parked Mercedes car in Hillingdon.

Court 14 at 10am New trial of Alex Aaaronson accused of attempted murder. He was arrested after a 40 year old man was stabbed in a Costa Coffee shop in North London

Court 15 at 10am trial continues of Kareem Lashley-Weekes, 21, and a 16-year-old boy  accused of hunting down and ‘butchering’ 19-year-old Hasan Ozcan on February 3 last year. After Lashley-Weekes was arrested, police found images ‘mocking’ the victim and lyrics of two rap songs saved on his mobile phone a few days after Mr Ozcan was stabbed to death.

Court 16 at 10am trial continues of Kurtis Freeman and others accused of conspiracy to murder. Memunatu Warne, 46, died in a house fire in Woolwich, south-east London, in the early hours of 6 September. A man in his 60s and a woman in her 50s escaped the fire by jumping out of a first-floor window.

Court 16 at 2pm Sentence of Mohammed Ghani, who has admitted eight counts of possessing terrorist documents under section 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000. The charges date between 1 January 2018 and 12 January 2019. The material included copies of the al-Qaeda magazine Inspire.
