CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON MONDAY

Court 2 at 10am trial continues of Musa Duru accused of murder. Ismail Tanrikulu,22, was shot dead in Tottenham Cemetry in North London last September

Court 6 at 10am trial of Stacey Docharty and Gary Hopkins accused of murder. The decomposed body of teenager Abdi Ali,18, was found in an attic in a north London flat, where it is believed it had been hidden for eight months

Court 7 at 10.30am  trial continues of a 14 year old youth,who cannot be named because of his young age, Adesina Fashina and Christian Murphy, both 18, accused of murder. Drugs dealer Mark Fontaine, 41, was lured into an ambush and stabbed to death. The court heard he had refused to hand back a phone dropped by one of his alleged killers during a failed mugging days earlier.

Court 8 at 9.15am Pre-trial review in the case of Isaiah Popoola accused of the murder of two youths, who died within hours of each other in February last year in Camden, North London.

Court 8 Not sitting trial of pilot Andrew Hill accused of the manslaughter of 11 men who died when his jet plane crashed onto a road during the Shoreham Air Show in 2015

Court 9 at 10am sentence of Adrian Hoare, the mother of three year old Alfie Lamb, who was crushed to death by a car seat. She was found guilty of cruelty.

Court 9 Not sitting trial of Jack Renshaw and two others, who were members of a Neo- Nazi group called Nactional Action. Renshaw plotted to murder Labour MP Rosie Cooper on behalf of the banned right wing group.

Court 10 at 10am trial of Kerry Donovan and Aaron Woolcock accused of murder. Leroy Junior Edwards, 66, was stabbed to death in Catford, London SE on 18 August 2018, suffering neck and chest wounds.

Court 11 at 10am Jury deliberating in the case of Obina Ezeoke, 25, who denies murdering Annie Ekofo, 53, and her nephew Bervil in their apartment in East Finchley, North London in September 2016. The pair were shot dead in a case of mistaken identity.

Court 12 at 9.30am Mention in the case of Jamie Bennett and six others, including two women, accused of murder. Jay Sewell,18, was stabbed to death in Eltham, London SE in December 2018

Court 12 at 10am  trial continues Kenneth Ife and six of his family members accused of the manslaughter of  26 year old son Kennedy. The victim, a marketing consultant, died of a heart attack after allegedly being restrained during an exorcism at the family home in Barnet, North London. It was believed the victim was possessed by a “snake demon”

Court 13 at 10am trial continues of Dana Powell accused of murder. Shevaun Sorrell, 22, was stabbed to death in Deptford, London SE on 25 August 2018.

Court 15 at 10am trial of Jack Stevens accused of stabbing to death Nashon Esbrand in Islington, North London.
