CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON MONDAY

Court 2 at 10am New trial of Christopher McMahon accused of murder. David Potter, 50, was found stabbed to death at his home in Tooting, South London on 26 March 2018.

Court 4 at 10am New trial of Kerry Donovan and Aaron Woolcock accused of murder. Leroy Junior Edwards, 66, was stabbed to death in Catford, London SE on 18 August 2018, suffering neck and chest wounds.

Court 6 at 9.45am Mention in the case of Agnes Taylor, the former wife of the ex Liberian president Charles Taylor, accused of torture during her country’s civil war.

Court 6 at 10.30am New trial of Michael Fasan, 28, who denies charges of attempted murder, dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified and driving with no insurance .The charges arise out of an incident involving the driving of a car – which was filmed and then circulated on social media

Court 7 at 9.30am trial continues of a 14 year old youth and Adesina Fashina and Christian Murphy, both 18, accused of murder. Drugs dealer Mark Fontaine, 41, was lured into an ambush and stabbed to death. The court heard he had refused to hand back a phone dropped by one of his alleged killers during a failed mugging days earlier

Court 8 at 10.30am trial continues of pilot Andrew Hill accused of the manslaughter of 11 men who died when his jet plane crashed onto a road during the Shoreham Air Show in 2015

Court 9 at 10am trial of Abdiraham Abdullahi accused of murder. Ali Al Har, 25, was stabbed to death in Tufnell Park on 18 September 2018

Court 10 at 10.30am Plera and trial preparation in the case of Gerald Matovu, who is accused of poisoning to death business executive Eric Michels,52, who was found dead at it Chessington London home. The victim, who was a part-time actor made brief appearances in the Bond film Skyfall and the Tom Cruise movie Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit. He died from a lethal dose of the drug GBH

Court 11 at 10am trial of Obina Ezeoke, 25, who denies murdering Annie Ekofo, 53, and her nephew Bervil in their apartment in East Finchley, North London in September 2016. The pair were shot dead in a case of mistaken identity.

Court 12 at 10am  trial continues six family members accused of the manslaughter of  26 year old marketing consultant, who was also a member of the family. The victim died of a heart attack after allegedly being restrained during an exorcism at the family home in Barnet, North London. It was believed the victim was possessed by a “snake demon”

Court 13 at 10am trial continues of Adrian Hoare and her partner, who haven been charged in connection with the death of three year old Alfie Lamb.  The toddler was deliberately crushed to death with an electric car seat because he was making too much noise, the court heard.

Court 14 at 10am Jury expected to retire in the trial of Ken Umezie  accused of murdering drill music rapper Sidique Kamara,23, who was stabbed to death with a lock knife in Camberwell, London SE.
