CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON WEDNESDAY

Court 4 at 10am Sentence of Alvaro Mendoza Sillerico, 26, who allegedly knifed to death his housemate, Juan Olmos Saca, 39

Court 8 at 2pm trial continues of pilot Andrew Hill accused of the manslaughter of 11 men who died when his jet plane crashed onto a road during the Shoreham Air Show in 2015

Court 9 at 10am trial of Vladimir Rutkovskis, 49, a Russian man accused of attempted murder. He allegedly knifed recruitment consultant Amable Altovkhova at his workplace.

Court 10 at 10am trial of Thomas Peter accused of of murder. His wife, who was in her early fifties and mother of their three chuildren, was found dead after a house fire in Romford, Essex. She died of asphyxia.

Court 11 at 10am trial of Obina Ezeoke, 25, who denies murdering Annie Ekofo, 53, and her nephew Bervil in their apartment in East Finchley, North London in September 2016. The pair were shot dead in a case of mistaken identity.

Court 13 at 10am trial continues of Adrian Hoare and her partner, who haven been charged in connection with the death of three year old Alfie Lamb.  The toddler was deliberately crushed to death with an electric car seat because he was making too much noise, the court heard.

Court 14 at 10.30am New trial of Ken Umezie  accused of murdering drill music rapper Sidique Kamara,23, who was stabbed to death with a lock knife in Camberwell, London SE.

Court 15 at 10am at 10am trial continues of Nathaniel Lewis and three others, who are said to have pointed a loaded shotgun at police during a car chase

Court 16 at 10am trial continues of two detectives, Sharon Patterson and Lee Pollard, who allegedly failed to investigate a string of child sex allegations properly. The pair worked for Essex Police and are accused of deliberately forging documents and concealing evidence over a three-year period. The pair, who were in a relationship, are also alleged to have fabricated witness statements and given other false information which led to abuse investigations being dropped.
