Court 5 at 10.30amDay off trial in the case of Ercan Akbal and five other Kurds, who have pleaded not guilty to membership of the proscribed group, the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, also known as the PKK, between March 1 2011 and November 27 2024.
Court 8 at 10am trial of Omar Prempeh,32, and four others accused of the murder of a 16-year-old, Lathaniel Burrell, who was fatally shot in south London
Court 9 at 2pm Sentence of Jazz Reid, who was accused of attempted murder and wounding with intent. Reid allegedly fired 11 shots, hitting an eight year old girl twice and her 34-year-old father five times as they sat with other family members in a car in Ladbroke Grove, north-west London, on 24 November 2024.
Court 10 at 10am trial in the case of Russian sea captian Vladimir Motin. His container ship crashed into a US oil tanker in the North Sea and he is charged with manslaughter on the grounds of gross negligence. Crew member Mark Angelo Pernia, 38, died in the collision off the East Yorkshire coast.
Court 12 at 10am Mention in the case of Diezani Alison-Madueke, the former Nigerian Minister of Petroleum Resources, accused of multi-million pounds charges of bribery and corruption.
