CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON TUESDAY

Court 1 at 10.30am Case of Stephen Whiteley and Ziad Akle, former territory managers for Iraq at energy consultancy Unaoil, along with their co-defendant Paul Bond, former Middle East sales manager at Dutch energy firm SBM. They are accused of bribing officials in Iraq for contracts worth US$800 million to rebuild the country’s oil industry after the fall of Saddam Hussein in 2003.

Court 8 at 10am case of six teenagers over the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old student Josiph Beker, who was stabbed outside a KFC in Edgeware Road, central London.

Court 12 at 10am Trial of Uran Nabiev accused of killing Jake Kemp, 26, in an alleged hit and run motoring collision in Bexley, Kent.

Court 13 at 12 noon Mention in the case of Errol James accused of murder.  Eraj Seifi, 46, was shot in the head on 29 January this year in Queens Park, London. He died a week later on 7 February.

Court 16 at 10am trial of George Nolan accused of murder The victim, 47-year-old James O’Keefe was found in Hornsey, North London suffering from a stab wound to the leg. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
