CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON THURSDAY

Court 1 at 10am Jury may retire in the case of Armani Afia. She is accused of stabbing a bus driver eight times after he refused to apologise for chattting to her girlfriend at a party. The victim survived and Afia denies attempted murder

Court 1 at 12 noon Pre-trial review in the case of Neil Allen and three others accused of manslaughter. Sheiku Adams, 39, died after falling from a third floor flat in Camden, London.

Court 5 at 10am trial of Aiden James accused of terrorism. He allegedly fought with a Kurdish group in the middle east against ISIS

Court 6 at 10am trial continues of Ramanodge Unmathallegadoo accused of murdering his ex-wife. The 35 year old victim, who was eight months pregnant, was shot dead with a cross bow bolt. The baby was saved after an emergency caesarean

Court 7 Not sitting trial of Abdi Quule accused of murder following a house fire in Finsbury Park, North London. Kaltoun Saleh, 43, suffered severe burns and died from her injuries seven weeks after the blaze on 5 July.

Court 7 at 9.30am Directions in the case of Lee Vernon,20, who denies murdering his six week old baby son.

Court 8 at 9.30am Execution of Bench Warrant in the case of speedboat killer Jack Shepherd. He skipped bail and  was found guilty of manslaughter of 24 year old Charlotte Brown in his absence. He turned up in Georgia.

Court 8 at 10am trial continues of Isaiah Popoola, Ben Drummond and others. Popoola and Drummond deny stabbing to death two young men within two hours. The murders took place during a series of five violent attacks, allegedly by the same gang that day.

Court 9 Not sitting trial of Hamza Ul-Haq accused of murder. Joseph Williams-Torres,20, was shot dead while sitting in a stationary car in Walthamstow, London NE

Court 9 at 2pm Sentence of Natasha Welsh, a mother of two, who was found guilty of stabbing to death her husband at their £600,000 London home. One of their sons was upstairs playing computer games when the murder takes place.

Court 10 at 10.30am  trial of Alex Traykov accused of four charges of attempted murder. Four police officers were injured while responding to reports of a fight in Islington, North London

Court 11 at 10am trial of Gary Beech and Michael Swan accused of murder. Ian Tomlin,46, was beaten to death in Battersea, London SW

Court 12 at 10am trial of Billal Mumin and others. Mumin is accused of stabbing to death Edmond Jonuzi, 35, who was killed outside a tube station in North London on June 9.

Court 14 at 10am New trial of Juskiran Sidhu and another accused of murder. Hashim Abdulla Ali,22, was shot dead while sitting in a parked Mercedes car in Hillingdon.

Court 15 at 10am trial continues of Kaleel Nyeila and another 18 year old youth accused of murder. Jason Isaacs,18, was chased and stabbed to death by a moped gang in what was described as a “terrifying and vicious attack”
