CASES OF INTEREST AT THE OLD BAILEY ON FRIDAY

Court 2 at 10am trial of Natasha Welsh accused of murdering her husband at their £600,000 Hendon, London home. Martin Welsh, 47, a former top IT executive was stabbed to death.

Court 3 at 10am New trial of Joan Martino,69, accused of causing death by careless driving. Cyclist Christopher Holt,58, died four days after being hit by a 4 x 4 in Hornchurch, Essex.

Court 5 at 10am trial of Aiden James accused of terrorism. He allegedly fought with a Kurdish group in the middle east against ISIS

Court 7 at 9.30am Mention in  asset confiscation hearing of Michael Coorcoran, who was convicted of running Britian’s biggest ever skunk cannabis factory that was making £50 million a year.

Court 7 Not sitting trial of Abdi Quule accused of murder following a house fire in Finsbury Park, North London. Kaltoun Saleh, 43, suffered severe burns and died from her injuries seven weeks after the blaze on 5 July.

Court 8 at 10am trial continues of Isaiah Popoola, Ben Drummond and others. Popoola and Drummond deny stabbing to death two young men within two hours. The murders took place during a series of five violent attacks, allegedly by the same gang that day.

Court 9 at 12 noon sentence of Andre Campbell, who brought a stolen mobile phone off two men who had just killed a businessman, which the phone belonged to.

Court 10 at 10am New trial of Alex Traykov accused of four charges of attempted murder. Four police officers were injured while responding to reports of a fight in Islington, North London

Court 11 at 11.30am Sentence of Packiam Ramanathan,73, accused of murdering her  wheel chair bound 76 year old husband, who suffered several injuries including a broken arm and fractured skull

Court 12 at 10am trial of Billal Mumin and others. Mumin is accused of stabbing to death Edmond Jonuzi, 35, who was killed outside Turnpike Lane tube station in North London on June 9.

Court 14 at 10,15am trial continues of Armani Afia,who is accused of stabbing a bus driver eight times after he refused to apologise for chattting to her girlfriend at a party. The victim survived and Afia denies attempted murder

Court 15 at 10am trial continues of Kaleel Nyeila and another 18 year old youth accused of murder. Jason Isaacs,18, was chased and stabbed to death by a moped gang in what was described as a “terrifying and vicious attack”
